2025 QC Snow Day Surprise Kits now available! 

The 2025 Snow Day Surprise quilt is a pieced design inspired by one of my favorite quilts from the late 1800’s. The kit for the 62” x 62” quilt, which includes fabric for the quilt top and binding, is offered in three colorways - winter (blues that range from teal to periwinkle), summer (bright colors in the hues of summer flowers) and historic (a range of red, gold, green, blue and black historic style prints). If you are reading carefully, you will notice something missing from the kit description - the pattern! The pattern is the surprise! You will receive it via email on the first day in 2025 that 6” or more of snow falls on Quilters Corner in Finleyville, PA! If we are lucky enough to dodge any major storms you will receive the pattern on February 14th. In either case, you will find the project provides plenty of stitching to fill the colder days ahead.

We also offer a custom, optional additional border kit that will take your quilt from 62” x 62” to 86” x 86”. If you would like a border kit it should be ordered when you place your order for the 62” x 62” portion of the quilt in order to guarantee they coordinate (both kits are required to make the larger version of the quilt or you could pull additional fabrics from your collection to make the larger version). The pattern sent via email when the flurries fly will contain directions for both versions of the quilt, and your 62” x 62” kit will contain enough binding to bind the smaller or larger size.

Quilt kits are $44.95 this year before the snow piles up and the pattern is released (after the pattern release the kits will be offered at their regular price of $99.95). The optional, additional border kit is $59.95.
